Khosla Ventures joins US AI chip design startup’s $46m round
Vinci has emerged from stealth and raised US$46 million in combined seed and series A funding.
The round was led by Xora Innovation, with participation from Khosla Ventures and Eclipse.
Vinci is a Palo Alto-based startup developing AI software for semiconductor design and simulation.
Founded in 2023, Vinci claims its physics-driven AI platform can simulate hardware designs much faster than conventional tools and does not require customer data for operation.
The company reports its system is already in use at three major semiconductor manufacturers, and over ten others have benchmarked its results against traditional methods.
Founded by Hardik Kabaria and Sarah Osentoski, Vinci aims to address growing complexity in chip design and reduce reliance on traditional simulation workflows.
